The Iron County Road Commission is responsible for providing a road system that is reasonably safe and convenient for the traveling public.

Winter is coming!  Don’t let your mailbox become a casualty of winter weather. This October, “Shake Your Mailbox.” If it moves when you shake it, it could be knocked over by snow thrown from a passing snowplow.

The Iron County Road Commission maintains 224 MDOT highway miles. We are local people taking care of local roads and local needs. We provide and maintain a safe, cost efficient and quality county road system for the motorists in Iron County.

REQUEST FOR BIDS

The Board of County Road Commissioners of Iron County is accepting SEALED BIDS for pickup trucks at their business office 800 West Franklin St., Iron River MI, 49935 until 10:00 a.m. CST Tuesday, January 7, 2024.

Bid information can be obtained at the ICRC business office -or- the link below.  ALL BID ENVELOPES MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED ON THE OUTSIDE “PICKUP TRUCK“. The ICRC reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in any bid or reject any bid, in whole or in part, which they deem to be in the best interest of the ICRC.
