The Iron County Road Commission is responsible for providing a road system that is reasonably safe and convenient for the traveling public.

ROAD CLOSURES:

• EFFECTIVE TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 2025, Division Street from M73 to 900 feet Easterly HAS BEEN CLOSED for the winter to ALL traffic.
• EFFECTIVE THURSDAY, MARCH 5, 2026, SPRING ROAD RESTRICTIONS ARE IN PLACE ON ALL ROADS IN IRON COUNTY.
• EFFECTIVE FRIDAY, MARCH 20, 2025, Ahlberg Road from M73 to East Brule Lake Road AND Ranch Road from M189 to Brule River Road have been closed until further notice due to spring breakup.
• EFFECTIVE TUESDAY, APRIL 14, 2026, Parks Farm Rd. from Highway 141 west to Cemetery Rd. has been closed due to flooding.
• EFFECTIVE THURSDAY, APRIL 16, 2026, Bradley Rd. at the Deer River and Maki Rd. from the Hemlock River bridge to Bates-Amasa Rd. are closed due to flooding.
• EFFECTIVE FRIDAY, APRIL 17, 2026, Park City Rd. at the Hemlock River has been closed due to flooding.
• EFFECTIVE SATURDAY, APRIL 18, 2026, Pine St. at the Hemlock River, Spruce St. from Hwy 141 to just East of River Lane, Spruce St. at the River Avenue intersection and River Lane at the Hemlock River have all been closed due to flooding.  Access to Amasa is limited to Cemetery Rd., Old 141 to the North off Corral Rd., and Old 141 South via Trappers Lane.
• EFFECTIVE SATURDAY, APRIL 18, 2026, Deer LakeRd., beginning at 1129 Deer Lake Rd., has been closed. due to flooding.
