NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Board of County Road Commissioners of Iron County will hold a public hearing at the Road Commission office, 800 W. Franklin St., Iron River, MI 49935 on June 27, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., to discuss the proposed property acquisition on Baumgartner Road in Stambaugh Township, Iron County. During this meeting, a brief project introduction, overview, and need will be discussed. The floor will then open to the public.

This project/acquisition is located on Baumgartner Road near the Intersection of State Highway M-73. The property acquisition is needed in order to safely install a culvert replacement; the existing culvert was damaged in the Spring of 2023. The acquisition involves land owned by the United States of America.

All interested parties are invited to attend the public meeting. If you are unable to attend the public meeting but interested in providing comments on the project, please email info@ironcountyroads.com at least two days prior to the meeting.
